The Tandara Caravan Park in Traralgon was one
of our favourites. It is centrally located and made a good
base to tour the surrounding countryside and attractions,
including the Tarra Bulga National Park, Grand Ridge Road,
Power Trail and Walhalla Town.
The site includes the features expected of an above average
caravan park, such as a kiosk, barbeque area, laundry and
LPG gas. The park is also equipped with a playground for
the children, a tennis court, a salt water swimming pool
and spa, and a games room.
The park is set on 10 acres of well maintained property
and comes with 141 powered sites. The accommodation at Tandara
caters to various budgets. Whether you are passing through
for a day or two or plan to stay for an extended period,
chances are you won’t have a problem finding a site.
Types of accommodation include cabins, vacant plots and
on-site vans. The cabins come with fully decked out kitchens
and spacious bedrooms. And if you go for the deluxe variety,
extras include air-con and colour TV.
Tandara Caravan Park carries a RACV 4 Star Rating and is
definitely on of the better maintained sites in the Gippsland
region.
